Terms of Service — Ureel

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Ureel website at ureel.app and/or the Ureel mobile application (together, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Account Types & Registration

The Platform offers three account types:

Angler — for individual anglers to track catches, log sessions, and engage socially.
Venue — for fishing venues to create a profile, showcase lakes, and manage their fishery information.
Shop / Business — for tackle shops, bait companies, and other fishing trade businesses to open a storefront and sell products.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your login details or allow others to access your account. You are liable for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

When using the Platform, you agree not to:

Post content that is illegal, abusive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
Impersonate any person or entity
Upload malware, viruses, or other harmful code
Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Platform without our written permission
Circumvent any security measures or access controls
Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or to facilitate illegal activity
Create multiple accounts to evade bans or suspensions
Post false or misleading marketplace listings
Spam or send unsolicited promotional messages

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you post on the Platform (photos, text, catch records, etc.). By posting content, you grant Ureel a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. You warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to any content you upload and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably consider harmful or inappropriate, without prior notice.

6. Marketplace & Shops

The Platform provides a marketplace where users can list items for sale and shop storefronts where businesses can sell products. Please note:

Ureel is a platform that connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction between users.
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including descriptions, pricing, and images.
Sellers must comply with all applicable consumer-protection and distance-selling laws.
Ureel does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed.
Disputes between buyers and sellers should be resolved directly between the parties. Ureel may assist at its discretion but is not obliged to mediate.
Shop accounts are subject to approval and may be suspended or removed if they violate these Terms.

7. Moderation & Enforcement

We may, at our sole discretion, take action against accounts that violate these Terms, including:

Issuing warnings
Temporarily suspending your account
Permanently banning your account
Removing content
Reporting illegal activity to law enforcement

Users may report content or other users that they believe violate these Terms using the in-app reporting feature. We review all reports and take appropriate action.

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, code, logos, and branding, is owned by Ureel and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Platform without our written permission.

9. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Weather data, environmental conditions, and venue information are provided for informational purposes only and may not be fully accurate. Always exercise your own judgement when fishing.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ureel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the Platform or by email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
